यदा तु बहुशो वीर प्रश्रयावनतस्य मे ।
न प्रादाद्याचितो विद्यामायुर्वेदात्मिकां मम ॥४२॥

But when, O hero, though I repeatedly requested him, and was humble with reverence, he did not grant me my knowledge, which embodies the essence of Ayurveda.
