स्वायम्भुवो वसिष्ठाय सिद्धवर्याय दत्तवान् ।
तेनापि दत्तं मन्मातुः पित्रे चित्रायुधाय वै ॥२५॥

Svāyambhuva (Brahmā) gave it to Vasiṣṭha, the most excellent among the accomplished ones (siddhas). Indeed, by him (Vasiṣṭha), it was also given to my mother's father, Citrāyudha.
