मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः पित्रा स्वयं दत्तां तां कन्यां स विधानतः ।
उपयेमे गिरौ तस्मिन् स्वरोचिश्चारुलोचवनाम् ॥६१॥

61. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tataḥ pitrā svayaṃ dattāṃ tāṃ kanyāṃ sa vidhānataḥ .
upayeme girau tasmin svarociścārulocavanām.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, Svaroci married that maiden, who was given personally by her father according to proper rites, on that mountain. She had beautiful eyes.
