मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-63, verse-6

जज्ञे स बालो द्युतिमान ज्वलन्निव विभावसुः ।
स्वरोचिभैर्यथा सूर्यो भासयन् सकला दिशः ॥६॥
6. jajñe sa bālo dyutimāna jvalanniva vibhāvasuḥ .
svarocibhairyathā sūryo bhāsayan sakalā diśaḥ.
6. jajñe saḥ bālaḥ dyutimān jvalan iva vibhāvasuḥ
svarocibhiḥ yathā sūryaḥ bhāsayann sakalāḥ diśaḥ
6. That child was born, radiant and blazing like fire (Agni). Just as the sun illuminates all directions with its own rays, so did he make all directions shine.
