मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-63, verse-41

मया च याचितः पुर्वं ब्रह्ममित्रोऽभवन्मुनिः ।
आयुर्वेदमशेषं मे भगवन् दातुमर्हसि ॥४१॥
41. mayā ca yācitaḥ purvaṃ brahmamitro'bhavanmuniḥ .
āyurvedamaśeṣaṃ me bhagavan dātumarhasi.
41. mayā ca yācitaḥ pūrvam brahmamitraḥ abhavat
muniḥ āyurvedam aśeṣam me bhagavan dātum arhasi
41. And Brahmamitra, whom I had previously requested, became a sage. (I had said to him): 'O Lord, you ought to grant me the complete Ayurveda.'
