मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
तथैत्युक्ते ततस्तेन वार्युपस्पृश्य तस्य तत् ।
अस्त्राणां हृदयं प्रादात् सरहस्यनिवर्तनम् ॥२९॥

tathaityukte tatastena vāryupaspṛśya tasya tat .
astrāṇāṃ hṛdayaṃ prādāt sarahasyanivartanam.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: When it was thus spoken, then, having touched water, he (the sage) gave him (the supplicant) that essence of weapons, along with its secret knowledge of deployment and withdrawal.
