मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-63, verse-30

एतस्मिन्नन्तरे रक्षस्तत्तदा भीषणाकृति ।
नर्दमानं महानादमाजगाम त्वरान्वितम् ॥३०॥
30. etasminnantare rakṣastattadā bhīṣaṇākṛti .
nardamānaṃ mahānādamājagāma tvarānvitam.
30. etasmin antare rakṣas tat tadā bhīṣaṇākṛti
nardamānam mahānādam ājagāma tvarānvitam
30. At that very moment, that terrifying-looking demon (rakṣas) swiftly approached, roaring with a tremendous sound.
