महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-60, verse-61

ततस्त्वैरावतं नागं जज्ञे भद्रमना सुतम् ।
ऐरावतः सुतस्तस्या देवनागो महागजः ॥६१॥
61. tatastvairāvataṁ nāgaṁ jajñe bhadramanā sutam ,
airāvataḥ sutastasyā devanāgo mahāgajaḥ.
61. tataḥ tu airāvatam nāgam jajñe bhadramanāḥ
sutam airāvataḥ sutaḥ tasyāḥ devanāgaḥ mahāgajaḥ
61. Then Bhadramanā gave birth to Airāvata, an elephant, as a son. That Airāvata, her son, was a divine elephant, a great elephant.
