महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-60, verse-45

आरुषी तु मनोः कन्या तस्य पत्नी मनीषिणः ।
और्वस्तस्यां समभवदूरुं भित्त्वा महायशाः ।
महातपा महातेजा बाल एव गुणैर्युतः ॥४५॥
45. āruṣī tu manoḥ kanyā tasya patnī manīṣiṇaḥ ,
aurvastasyāṁ samabhavadūruṁ bhittvā mahāyaśāḥ ,
mahātapā mahātejā bāla eva guṇairyutaḥ.

45. Āruṣī, the daughter of Manu, was the wife of that wise sage. From her, splitting her thigh, was born the greatly renowned Aurva, who, even as a child, was endowed with great ascetic power and splendor.
