महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-60, verse-33

मरीचेः कश्यपः पुत्रः कश्यपस्य सुरासुराः ।
जज्ञिरे नृपशार्दूल लोकानां प्रभवस्तु सः ॥३३॥
33. marīceḥ kaśyapaḥ putraḥ kaśyapasya surāsurāḥ ,
jajñire nṛpaśārdūla lokānāṁ prabhavastu saḥ.

33. Kaśyapa was the son of Marīci. From Kaśyapa, O tiger among kings, were born the gods and demons. Indeed, he is the origin of all worlds.
