महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-60, verse-40

ब्रह्मणो हृदयं भित्त्वा निःसृतो भगवान्भृगुः ।
भृगोः पुत्रः कविर्विद्वाञ्शुक्रः कविसुतो ग्रहः ॥४०॥
40. brahmaṇo hṛdayaṁ bhittvā niḥsṛto bhagavānbhṛguḥ ,
bhṛgoḥ putraḥ kavirvidvāñśukraḥ kavisuto grahaḥ.

40. Having split Brahman's heart, the venerable Bhrigu emerged. Bhrigu's son was Kavi, the learned Shukra, who is known as Kavisuta and is a planet.
