महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-60, verse-11

ताः सर्वास्त्वनवद्याङ्ग्यः कन्याः कमललोचनाः ।
पुत्रिकाः स्थापयामास नष्टपुत्रः प्रजापतिः ॥११॥
11. tāḥ sarvāstvanavadyāṅgyaḥ kanyāḥ kamalalocanāḥ ,
putrikāḥ sthāpayāmāsa naṣṭaputraḥ prajāpatiḥ.

11. The Prajāpati, having lost his own son, appointed all those daughters—who had flawless limbs and lotus-like eyes—as his own for the sake of progeny.
