दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-1, verse-9

स तत्राश्रममद्राक्षीद् द्विजवर्यस्य मेधसः ।
प्रशान्तश्वापदाकीर्णं मुनिश्ष्योपशोभितम् ॥९॥
9. sa tatrāśramamadrākṣīd dvijavaryasya medhasaḥ .
praśāntaśvāpadākīrṇaṃ muniśṣyopaśobhitam.

9. He saw there the hermitage of Medhas, the foremost among the twice-born (dvija). It was filled with peaceful wild animals and graced by the sage's (muni) disciples.
