यस्या यस्यास्त्ववस्थायाः क्रियते संविदा भरः ।
सा सा सहस्रशाखत्वमेति सेकैर्यथा लता ॥ ६ ॥

sā sā sahasraśākhatvameti sekairyathā latā 6

6. Just as a creeper [grows] with watering, so too, whichever state is filled with consciousness (saṃvid), that state attains a thousandfold ramification.
