योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-70, verse-36

एवं क्वचित्तृप्यति सा दुर्बुद्धिहृदयास्थिता ।
क्वचिदुच्छेद्यते पुण्यैर्मन्त्रौषधितपःक्रमैः ॥ ३६ ॥
evaṃ kvacittṛpyati sā durbuddhihṛdayāsthitā ,
kvaciducchedyate puṇyairmantrauṣadhitapaḥkramaiḥ 36
36. evam kvacit tṛpyati sā durbuddhiḥ hṛdayasthitā |
kvacit ucchedyate puṇyaiḥ mantrauṣadhitapaḥkramaiḥ ||
36. sā hṛdayasthitā durbuddhiḥ kvacit evam tṛpyati
kvacit puṇyaiḥ mantrauṣadhitapaḥkramaiḥ ucchedyate
36. Sometimes, that folly (durbuddhi), residing in the heart, is satisfied. At other times, it is eradicated by virtuous acts and by the methods of sacred utterances (mantra), medicinal remedies, and austere practices (tapas).
