83. She (the needle) sinks into mud, ascends to the sky, and roams the cardinal directions carried by the winds of space. She rests as if on dusty ground, in forests, on planks, in homes, in inner chambers, in one's hand, on a lotus-like ear, or on a soft piece of chosen wool. She fits into the crevices of wood and clay, and she (also) resides in the heart, solely by her inherent power of matter and self (dravya-ātman-śakti).
