योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-70, verse-28

एवमस्यास्तनुर्जाता सूचीद्वयमयी हि सा ।
नीहारांशुकवत्तन्वी कार्पासांशुसुपेलवा ॥ २८ ॥
evamasyāstanurjātā sūcīdvayamayī hi sā ,
nīhārāṃśukavattanvī kārpāsāṃśusupelavā 28
28. evam asyāḥ tanuḥ jātā sūcīdvayamayī hi sā
nīhārāṃśukavat tanvī kārpāsāṃśusupelavā
28. asyāḥ tanuḥ evam sūcīdvayamayī hi jātā.
sā nīhārāṃśukavat tanvī kārpāsāṃśusupelavā.
28. This is how her body came into being; indeed, it consisted of two needles. It was as slender as a garment of mist and exceedingly delicate like a wisp of cotton.
