सूचिकायुग्मलभ्येन मोहितेनात्मना नृणाम् ।
मृतिमाशङ्कते चित्रा स्वार्थे नोदेति मूढता ॥ ७८ ॥

78. Among humans, whose inner being (ātman) is deluded by the acquisition of a mere pair of needles, death is feared. Yet, when it comes to one's self-interest, a peculiar foolishness (mūḍhatā) does not manifest.
