सो ऽहं नैव गमिष्यामि किष्किन्धां नगरीमितः ।
न हि शक्ष्याम्यहं द्रष्टुं सुग्रीवं मैथिलीं विना ॥३८॥

38. so'haṃ naiva gamiṣyāmi kiṣkindhāṃ nagarīmitaḥ ,
na hi śakṣyāmyahaṃ draṣṭuṃ sugrīvaṃ maithilīṃ vinā.

na hi śakṣyāmi aham draṣṭum sugrīvam maithilīm vinā

38. Therefore, I will certainly not go to the city of Kiṣkindhā from this place. Indeed, I will not be able to see Sugrīva without Maithilī.
