महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-49, verse-7

तं तत्र वसमानं तु जैगीषव्यं महामुनिम् ।
देवलो दर्शयन्नेव नैवायुञ्जत धर्मतः ॥७॥
7. taṁ tatra vasamānaṁ tu jaigīṣavyaṁ mahāmunim ,
devalo darśayanneva naivāyuñjata dharmataḥ.
7. tam tatra vasamānam tu jaigīṣavyam mahāmunim
devalaḥ darśayan eva na eva āyuñjata dharmataḥ
7. tu devalaḥ tatra vasamānam tam jaigīṣavyam
mahāmunim darśayan eva na eva dharmataḥ āyuñjata
7. But Devala, merely pointing out that great sage (muni) Jaigīṣavya who was dwelling there, certainly did not engage (with him) in accordance with natural law (dharma).
