महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-49, verse-54

संन्यासकृतबुद्धिं तं ततो दृष्ट्वा महातपाः ।
सर्वाश्चास्य क्रियाश्चक्रे विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा ॥५४॥
54. saṁnyāsakṛtabuddhiṁ taṁ tato dṛṣṭvā mahātapāḥ ,
sarvāścāsya kriyāścakre vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā.
54. saṃnyāsa-kṛta-buddhim tam tataḥ dṛṣṭvā mahātapāḥ
sarvāḥ ca asya kriyāḥ cakre vidhi-dṛṣṭena karmaṇā
54. tataḥ mahātapāḥ tam saṃnyāsa-kṛta-buddhim dṛṣṭvā
ca asya sarvāḥ kriyāḥ vidhi-dṛṣṭena karmaṇā cakre
54. Then, having seen him (Devala) whose mind was resolved on renunciation (saṃnyāsa), the great ascetic (Jaigīṣavya) performed all his (Devala's) rites and actions with prescribed ceremonies.
