महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-49, verse-46

सिद्धा ऊचुः ।
शृणु देवल भूतार्थं शंसतां नो दृढव्रत ।
जैगीषव्यो गतो लोकं शाश्वतं ब्रह्मणोऽव्ययम् ॥४६॥
46. siddhā ūcuḥ ,
śṛṇu devala bhūtārthaṁ śaṁsatāṁ no dṛḍhavrata ,
jaigīṣavyo gato lokaṁ śāśvataṁ brahmaṇo'vyayam.
46. siddhāḥ ūcuḥ śṛṇu devala bhūtārtham śaṁsatām naḥ dṛḍhavrata
jaigīṣavyaḥ gataḥ lokam śāśvatam brahmaṇaḥ avyayam
46. siddhāḥ ūcuḥ: he devala,
he dṛḍhavrata,
naḥ śaṁsatām bhūtārtham śṛṇu.
jaigīṣavyaḥ śāśvatam avyayam brahmaṇaḥ lokam gataḥ.
46. The perfected beings (siddhas) said: 'Listen, O Devala, O man of firm vows, to the true state of affairs from us who speak. Jaigiṣavya has gone to the eternal, imperishable realm of Brahman (brahman).'
