पुनर्नो देवलः क्षुद्रो नूनं छेत्स्यति दुर्मतिः ।
अभयं सर्वभूतेभ्यो यो दत्त्वा नावबुध्यते ॥५८॥

Surely that mean and evil-minded Devala will again cut us down, he who, after granting safety to all beings, fails to comprehend (his actions).
