महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-49, verse-55

संन्यासकृतबुद्धिं तं भूतानि पितृभिः सह ।
ततो दृष्ट्वा प्ररुरुदुः कोऽस्मान्संविभजिष्यति ॥५५॥

55. saṁnyāsakṛtabuddhiṁ taṁ bhūtāni pitṛbhiḥ saha ,
tato dṛṣṭvā praruruduḥ ko'smānsaṁvibhajiṣyati.

55. Then, having seen him (Devala) whose mind was resolved on renunciation (saṃnyāsa), the creatures and the ancestors (pitṛs) together wailed, (thinking), 'Who will offer us our share (of oblations)?'
