महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-2, verse-8

तानद्य निहताञ्श्रुत्वा हृतैश्वर्यान्हृतौजसः ।
न लभे वै क्वचिच्छान्तिं पुत्राधिभिरभिप्लुतः ॥८॥
8. tānadya nihatāñśrutvā hṛtaiśvaryānhṛtaujasaḥ ,
na labhe vai kvacicchāntiṁ putrādhibhirabhiplutaḥ.
8. tān adya nihatān śrutvā hṛtaiśvaryān hṛtaujasaḥ na
labhe vai kvacit śāntim putrādhibhiḥ abhiplutaḥ

8. Having heard today that those sons have been slain, deprived of their dominion and their strength, I find no peace (śānti) anywhere, truly overwhelmed by grief for my sons.
