महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-2, verse-24

एकोऽप्येषां महाराज समर्थः संनिवारणे ।
समरे पाण्डवेयानां संक्रुद्धो ह्यभिधावताम् ।
किं पुनः सहिता वीराः कृतवैराश्च पाण्डवैः ॥२४॥
24. eko'pyeṣāṁ mahārāja samarthaḥ saṁnivāraṇe ,
samare pāṇḍaveyānāṁ saṁkruddho hyabhidhāvatām ,
kiṁ punaḥ sahitā vīrāḥ kṛtavairāśca pāṇḍavaiḥ.
24. ekaḥ api eṣām mahārāja samarthaḥ
saṃnivāraṇe samare pāṇḍaveyānām
saṃkruddhaḥ hi abhidhāvatām kim punaḥ
sahitāḥ vīrāḥ kṛtavairāḥ ca pāṇḍavaiḥ
24. mahārāja eṣām ekaḥ api samare
saṃkruddhaḥ hi abhidhāvatām pāṇḍaveyānām
saṃnivāraṇe samarthaḥ punaḥ kṛtavairāḥ
ca pāṇḍavaiḥ sahitāḥ vīrāḥ kim
24. O great king, even one of these (warriors) is capable of holding back the Pāṇḍavas as they rush forth in battle, especially when enraged. What then to say when these heroes are united and have made (such) enmity with the Pāṇḍavas?
