महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-68, verse-63

सदेवगन्धर्वमनुष्यचारणैर्महर्षिभिर्यक्षमहोरगैरपि ।
जयाभिवृद्ध्या परयाभिपूजितौ निहत्य कर्णं परमाहवे तदा ॥६३॥
63. sadevagandharvamanuṣyacāraṇai;rmaharṣibhiryakṣamahoragairapi ,
jayābhivṛddhyā parayābhipūjitau; nihatya karṇaṁ paramāhave tadā.

63. Then, having slain Karna in the supreme battle, the two (Arjuna and Krishna) were greatly honored by gods, gandharvas, humans, charanas, great sages, yakshas, and even by great serpents, celebrating their great victory.
