समाचितौ कर्णशरैः परंतपावुभौ व्यभातां समरेऽच्युतार्जुनौ ।
तमो निहत्याभ्युदितौ यथामलौ शशाङ्कसूर्याविव रश्मिमालिनौ ॥६१॥
61. samācitau karṇaśaraiḥ paraṁtapā;vubhau vyabhātāṁ samare'cyutārjunau ,
tamo nihatyābhyuditau yathāmalau; śaśāṅkasūryāviva raśmimālinau.

61. Although covered by Karna's arrows, both Achyuta (Krishna) and Arjuna, those destroyers of foes, shone brilliantly in battle. They appeared like the spotless moon and sun, radiant with their garlands of rays, having dispelled the darkness.
