महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-145, verse-6

ततो द्रोणं महाराज पाञ्चाल्यः पञ्चभिः शरैः ।
विव्याध हृदये तूर्णं सिंहनादं ननाद च ॥६॥
6. tato droṇaṁ mahārāja pāñcālyaḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ ,
vivyādha hṛdaye tūrṇaṁ siṁhanādaṁ nanāda ca.

vivyādha hṛdaye tūrṇam siṃhanādam nanāda ca
6. mahārāja tataḥ pāñcālyaḥ droṇam हृदये

6. O great king, then Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the Pāñcāla prince, quickly pierced Droṇa in the heart with five arrows and let out a lion's roar.
