अस्त्रैरस्त्राणि संवार्य तेषां कर्णस्य चाभिभो ।
अविध्यत्सात्यकिः क्रुद्धो वृषसेनं स्तनान्तरे ॥३८॥

38. O lord (abhibho), Sātyaki, enraged, having parried the weapons of both your warriors and Karna with his own missiles, then pierced Vṛṣasena in the chest.
