वर्तमाने तु संग्रामे तस्मिन्वीरवरक्षये ।
अतीव शुश्रुवे राजन्गाण्डीवस्य महास्वनः ॥४४॥

44. Indeed, during that ongoing battle, which caused the destruction of the best of heroes, O king, the great sound of the Gāṇḍīva (bow) was heard very loudly.
