महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-193, verse-52

दिष्टमेतत्पुरा मन्ये न शक्यमतिवर्तितुम् ।
गमनं तव चेतो हि पौलस्त्यस्य च दर्शनम् ॥५२॥
52. diṣṭametatpurā manye na śakyamativartitum ,
gamanaṁ tava ceto hi paulastyasya ca darśanam.
52. diṣṭam etat purā manye na śakyam ativartitum
gamanam tava ca itaḥ hi paulastyasya ca darśanam
52. etat purā diṣṭam manye,
(tat) ativartitum na śakyam.
tava gamanam ca itaḥ hi paulastyasya ca darśanam (diṣṭam).
52. I believe this destiny was determined previously, and it cannot be transgressed. Your departure from this place, indeed, and the sight of Paulastya (Kubera), are both fated.
