महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-193, verse-48

स्थूणस्तु शापं संप्राप्य तत्रैव न्यवसत्तदा ।
समये चागमत्तं वै शिखण्डी स क्षपाचरम् ॥४८॥
48. sthūṇastu śāpaṁ saṁprāpya tatraiva nyavasattadā ,
samaye cāgamattaṁ vai śikhaṇḍī sa kṣapācaram.
48. sthūṇaḥ tu śāpam saṃprāpya tatra eva nyavasat tadā
samaye ca āgamat tam vai śikhaṇḍī saḥ kṣapācaram
48. tu sthūṇaḥ śāpam saṃprāpya tatra eva tadā nyavasat
ca samaye saḥ śikhaṇḍī tam vai kṣapācaram āgamat
48. But Sthūṇa, having received the curse, resided there at that time. And at the appointed moment, that Shikhaṇḍin came to him, the night-ranger (yakṣa).
