महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-170, verse-5

तदहं प्रेक्ष्य दैत्यानां पुरमद्भुतदर्शनम् ।
अपृच्छं मातलिं राजन्किमिदं दृश्यतेति वै ॥५॥
5. tadahaṁ prekṣya daityānāṁ puramadbhutadarśanam ,
apṛcchaṁ mātaliṁ rājankimidaṁ dṛśyateti vai.
5. tat aham prekṣya daityānām puram adbhutadarśanam
apṛccham mātaliṃ rājan kim idam dṛśyate iti vai
5. O King, when I saw that city of the Daityas, which was wondrous to behold, I asked Mātali, 'What is this that is appearing before us?'
