महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-337, verse-35

एवं स चिन्तयित्वा तु भगवान्मधुसूदनः ।
रूपाण्यनेकान्यसृजत्प्रादुर्भावभवाय सः ॥३५॥
35. evaṁ sa cintayitvā tu bhagavānmadhusūdanaḥ ,
rūpāṇyanekānyasṛjatprādurbhāvabhavāya saḥ.

35. Having thus pondered, Lord Madhusudana, for the purpose of his manifestations, created many forms.
