महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-1, verse-38

सोऽथ शब्दं मृदुं कृत्वा लीयमान इवाण्डजः ।
न्यग्रोधस्य ततः शाखां प्रार्थयामास भारत ॥३८॥
38. so'tha śabdaṁ mṛduṁ kṛtvā līyamāna ivāṇḍajaḥ ,
nyagrodhasya tataḥ śākhāṁ prārthayāmāsa bhārata.
38. सः अथ शब्दम् मृदुम् कृत्वा लीयमानः इव अण्डजः
न्यग्रोधस्य ततः शाखाम् प्रार्थयामास भारत
38. भारत अथ सः अण्डजः इव लीयमानः मृदुम् शब्दम्
कृत्वा ततः न्यग्रोधस्य शाखाम् प्रार्थयामास
38. O Bhārata, then, making a soft sound, like a bird preparing to hide, he approached the branch of the banyan tree.
