केषांचिदच्छिनत्पक्षाञ्शिरांसि च चकर्त ह ।
चरणांश्चैव केषांचिद्बभञ्ज चरणायुधः ॥४०॥

40. keṣāṁcidacchinatpakṣāñśirāṁsi ca cakarta ha ,
caraṇāṁścaiva keṣāṁcidbabhañja caraṇāyudhaḥ.

40. He cut off the wings of some (crows), and indeed severed their heads. And the bird, whose weapon is its feet, broke the feet of some others.
