वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-1, verse-59

निवेदयित्वाभिज्ञानं प्रवृत्तिं च निवेद्य च ।
समाश्वास्य च वैदेहीं मर्दयामास तोरणम् ॥५९॥

59. Having presented the token of recognition (abhijñāna) and conveyed the news, and having consoled Vaidehi (Sita), he then proceeded to destroy the main gate (toraṇa).
