वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-1, verse-5

एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं परं कौतूहलं हि मे ।
महर्षे त्वं समर्थो ऽसि ज्ञातुमेवंविधं नरम् ॥५॥
5. etadicchāmyahaṃ śrotuṃ paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me ,
maharṣe tvaṃ samartho'si jñātumevaṃvidhaṃ naram.
5. etat icchāmi ahaṃ śrotum param kautūhalam hi me |
maharṣe tvam samarthaḥ asi jñātum evaṃvidham naram
5. aham etat śrotum icchāmi hi me param kautūhalam maharṣe,
