मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-121, verse-65

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा देवदूतोऽसौ यथागतमगच्छत ।
चकारानुदिनं सुभ्रूः साप्यात्मतनुपोषणम् ॥६५॥
65. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityuktvā devadūto'sau yathāgatamagacchata .
cakārānudinaṃ subhrūḥ sāpyātmatanupoṣaṇam.
65. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca | iti uktvā devadūtaḥ asau yathāgatam
agacchat | cakāra anudinam subhrūḥ sā api ātmatanupoṣaṇam
65. Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Having spoken thus, that divine messenger departed as he had come. And she, the beautiful-browed one, also undertook the nourishment of her own body (ātmatanu) daily."
