इत्युक्ते तेन तनयामुवाच जगतीपतिः ।
श्रुतं ते वचनं वत्से वदतोऽस्य महात्मनः ॥३१॥

31. ityukte tena tanayāmuvāca jagatīpatiḥ .

When he had spoken thus, the lord of the earth addressed his daughter, saying: "O dear one, you have heard the words spoken by this noble soul (mahātman)."
