बलादेव समादत्ते क्षत्रियो बलिनां पुरः ।
लोहशृंखलबद्धा वा न वशं यान्ति कातराः ॥१३॥

A warrior (kṣatriya) seizes by force alone, even in the presence of the powerful. However, those bound by iron chains, or cowards, do not easily come under control (or submit).
