मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-121, verse-6

स्वयंवरेष्वशेषेषु तेन राजसुतास्तदा ।
खिलीकृतास्ततः सर्वे समेत्य स वशीकृतः ॥६॥
6. svayaṃvareṣvaśeṣeṣu tena rājasutāstadā .
khilīkṛtāstataḥ sarve sametya sa vaśīkṛtaḥ.
6. svayaṃvareṣu aśeṣeṣu tena rājasutāḥ tadā
khilīkṛtāḥ tataḥ sarve sametya saḥ vaśīkṛtaḥ
6. Then, at all the svayaṃvaras, all the princesses were frustrated by him. Therefore, all the kings, having come together, subdued him.
