महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-18, verse-58

विप्रयातांस्तु वो भिन्नान्पाण्डवाः कृतकिल्बिषान् ।
अनुसृत्य हनिष्यन्ति श्रेयो नः समरे स्थितम् ॥५८॥
58. viprayātāṁstu vo bhinnānpāṇḍavāḥ kṛtakilbiṣān ,
anusṛtya haniṣyanti śreyo naḥ samare sthitam.

58. The Pāṇḍavas will pursue and kill you, who are scattered and have committed offenses. Our ultimate good (śreyaḥ) is to stand firm in battle.
