तथैवमुक्त्वा विससर्ज तं शरं बलाहकं वर्षघनाभिपूजितम् ।

9. Having spoken thus, Karna released that arrow named Balāhaka, which was celebrated like a rain cloud. He then declared, 'Indeed, Arjuna (Phalguna), you are slain!' After saying this, he quickly released another powerful (missile).
