छादयित्वा ततो बाणैः कर्णं प्रभ्राम्य चार्जुनः ।

53. Then Arjuna, having enveloped Karna with arrows and caused him to reel, Karna, enraged, cut Arjuna's bowstring with his extremely sharp arrows.
