महाधनुर्मण्डलनिःसृतैः शितैः क्रियाप्रयत्नप्रहितैर्बलेन च ।

tatakṣa karṇaṁ bahubhiḥ śarottamai;rbibheda marmasvapi cārjunastvaran.

35. And Arjuna, swiftly, with many excellent, sharp arrows—discharged with skillful effort and great force from the arc of his mighty bow—struck Karna, piercing him even in his vital spots.
