ततस्तु जिष्णुः परिहृत्य शेषांश्चिच्छेद षड्भिर्निशितैः सुधारैः ।

24. Then indeed, Arjuna (Jiṣṇu), avoiding the remaining (serpents), cut down the serpent (Takṣaka) with six exceedingly sharp arrows as it was flying obliquely through the sky. With its limbs severed, it fell to the ground.
