ततोऽर्जुनो द्वादशभिर्विमुक्तैराकर्णमुक्तैर्निशितैः समर्प्य ।
नाराचमाशीविषतुल्यवेगमाकर्णपूर्णायतमुत्ससर्ज ॥२६॥

26. Then Arjuna, having first loosed twelve sharp arrows drawn back to his ear, then discharged a formidable iron arrow, drawn back to its full length up to his ear, whose speed was like that of a venomous serpent.
