तस्य ज्याच्छेदनं कर्णो ज्यावधानं च संयुगे ।
नान्वबुध्यत शीघ्रत्वात्तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥५५॥

55. tasya jyācchedanaṁ karṇo jyāvadhānaṁ ca saṁyuge ,
nānvabudhyata śīghratvāttadadbhutamivābhavat.

55. In the battle, Karna did not even perceive the cutting of the bowstring nor its re-stringing by Arjuna, due to the latter's swiftness. That was indeed like a miracle.
